Just spent a full week hiking the Northville-Placid Trail in the Adirondacks last October
Three straight days of rain turned the trail into a muddy mess and I ran out of dry socks by day four. What’s the longest you’ve gone without dry feet on a trip?

Oh man, I gotta say I actually love wet feet on a long hike! Three days straight of rain and mud sounds like paradise to me honestly. I did the Long Trail in Vermont a few years back and deliberately took the wettest campsites I could find, soaked through my boots by lunchtime and never bothered drying them out. Something about that squishy feeling and the cold water running over my toes keeps me going, it's like a natural alarm clock that tells my brain we're really out here doing this. My longest stretch was probably six days without dry feet on the Appalachian Trail in Maine and I was actually disappointed when the sun finally came out and my socks started drying.

My buddy did that once and got trench foot so bad he couldn't walk for two days.
