Just hit 100 miles on the Superior Hiking Trail this season
I was looking at my map last night and added up all the sections I've done since May... it came out to 102 miles. It's not a huge number, but it surprised me because I only get out for a weekend at a time. It feels good to see all those little trips add up to something solid. Anyone else track their total distance over a summer like that?
Totally, seeing the numbers laid out is a real eye-opener. I started a basic log last year and couldn't believe I'd walked over 200 miles on local trails. It makes you want to get out there even more.
That's awesome, those weekend miles really do stack up. I keep a note on my phone for the same reason, it's cool to see the total at the end of the season. What's your favorite section you've done so far?
