That $18 headlight relay fix that saved my Saturday in Boise

Pulled my hair out for 3 days because my low beams kept flickering, then a buddy mentioned checking the relay box before the alternator. Swapped in a $18 relay from the parts store and zero issues since. Has anyone else had a weird electrical gremlin trace back to the cheap stuff?
