Am I the only one who hit 200,000 miles on my beater and felt weirdly proud about it?
My 2006 Corolla rolled over 200,000 miles last Tuesday on I-70 outside Columbus, and I actually pulled onto the shoulder to take a picture of the dash. I've done every oil change myself since I bought it at 87,000 miles, plus two timing belts and a clutch job in my driveway with a borrowed jack. The thing burns a little oil and the AC quit in 2021, but it still fires up every morning. Has anyone else gotten weirdly attached to a high mileage car like this?
