Rant: Shops around here act like carburetor jobs aren't worth the time anymore

I think skipping carb work is a mistake (honestly, it's still a useful skill). We get folks in all the time with older trucks that run way better after a simple rebuild.

Read a forum post where a guy fixed his old lawnmower with a carb kit. It's crazy how much life you can get out of old gear with just a little know-how!
