Did he actually match paint just by looking? That's hard to believe. I've seen pros use color tools and still argue over shades. How did he deal with different lights or old paint?

I mean, with old paint I always grab a chip to compare directly. Idk, seeing it in both daylight and lamp light usually points out the flaws.
