I stopped chasing every pinhole with glaze putty and started using a trick with a spray bottle
I had a 2016 Silverado bed side that kept showing pinholes after every pass of putty, and I was sanding and re-glazing for almost two days. A guy who has been spraying for 30 years over in Fresno told me to mist the panel with water before I glaze, because the water shows you exactly where the low spots are sitting. I tried it on the next panel and cut my finish time from about 6 hours down to 2 and a half, plus the paint laid flat with no sand scratches. Has anyone else used the water trick before glazing, or do you have a better way to catch those tiny holes?
