Just realized my 1952 Grant Park house has 14 exterior paint colors on it, one per layer
I scraped down to bare wood on the porch trim last weekend and counted every layer, from the original cream up to the teal somebody slapped on in the 90s. Anyone else in town dealing with a house that's been repainted so many times the trim won't hold a nail anymore?
