Star trail alignment reminded me of syncing up with offshore coworkers

I was blending exposures last night and the tedium hit home. It's just like getting everyone on the same page across time zones. Both need patience and clear communication to avoid a mess.

Wait you stayed up all night blending exposures? I mean that's some real dedication. Idk how you do that and then deal with time zone stuff too, that sounds like a special kind of tired. Maybe it's just me but trying to stack star photos feels exactly like herding cats for a 5am meeting.

That "herding cats for a 5am meeting" line from @grace565 really hits home. But the angle I see is how your mind locks onto the work so hard that the tiredness gets pushed aside. When I'm blending those star shots, the whole point becomes solving the puzzle, not the clock or time zones. It turns into this quiet battle between chaos and order, where each frame you stack feels like a small win. The payoff comes when you see the final image, and suddenly the long night makes sense. That specific satisfaction is what turns a grueling task into something you almost crave.
