Just checked the date on an old moon photo of mine from 2014
I looked up the lunar phase for that night and realized I caught a near perfect shot of the Mare Imbrium during sunrise lighting. Has anyone else found a random detail like that years later in their own photos?

... nah man, I just find old blurry pictures of my cat and wonder why I thought they were good at the time. But hey, at least your accidental science is way cooler than my accidental potato quality.

That bit about "accidental potato quality" got me thinking. Maybe those blurry cat photos are actually better than the perfect ones because they capture the moment without the pressure of getting it right.
