Vent: I switched from googling one big phrase to splitting my search into 3 plain words, and now I feel dumb
I was trying to find a zoning rule for a rental near 7th street in Austin and typed the entire thing into one search box like a normal person. Google gave me nothing useful, just real estate ads and old forum posts from 2009. Then a buddy told me to break it into three plain words, no quotes, no extra words, and the actual city code PDF was the very first result. I sat there wondering how many others I missed doing it the long way. Does anyone here use chat style search or do you still swear by the plain keyword trick?

A buddy of mine spent a whole weekend digging through county records for a fence permit, then tried three short words and found the form in like ten seconds. The long phrase thing tricks you into thinking Google understands sentences, but it mostly just wants key words.
