Just lost $340 on a movers deposit, read the fine print first
Booked a crew from a flyer on Columbia Pike last week, paid half upfront, and they never showed on moving day. Their 'cancellation policy' was buried on page 4 of the contract, so now I'm out the cash and hauling boxes myself. Anyone have a local mover who actually takes payment after the job, not before?

Used to think upfront was normal, now I always check page 4 first.
