Watched a new hire zip through a removal with a Silky Gomtaro and felt like a dinosaur

I realized I'd been over-relying on my old Stihl for everything, even small stuff, after seeing how much faster and cleaner a handsaw was for that job. Anyone else have a tool they stuck with way too long just out of habit?

Yeah, the "felt like a dinosaur" part hits home. I used a corded drill for years because it was a tank, refused to give it up. Watching someone put up a shelf in half the time with a little impact driver was a real wake up call. I was over there sounding like a angry bee hive for no good reason. Sometimes you just get stuck in your ways with a tool that gets the job done, even if it's the hard way.
