Update: I thought a throw line was a waste of time for small trees

Had a tricky removal in a tight backyard last week where I couldn't get a lift in. A climber from Eugene showed me how to set a line in the crown first to guide limbs down a precise chute. It saved us at least two hours of cleanup and zero damage to the fence. Anyone have other tricks for super confined spaces?

Yeah, I totally did. I mean, I used to skip them all the time, thought it was just extra work for nothing. But then I saw a video, maybe it was one of yours mason209, where the setup was just perfect because of a throw line. Changed my whole view. Now I see it's not a waste, it's how you get to the good spots without a huge fight. Makes the whole day easier, honestly.
