Had a perfect removal day last Thursday and it threw me off
I showed up at a job in Oak Park at 7am, a big silver maple that had split down the middle. By noon I had the whole thing on the ground with zero hiccups, the chipper never clogged once, and the customer brought out cold Gatorade. I spent the rest of the day waiting for something to go wrong and it just never did. Has anyone else had a job go so smooth you almost don't trust it?

Yeah that feeling of waiting for the other shoe to drop... never goes away.

Stop romanticizing this paranoid mindset already. Just because you had a bad experience doesn't mean the universe is out to get you every single time something good happens. Most of the time, things just work out fine and people are too scared to admit they were wrong about expecting the worst. If you spend your whole life bracing for a punch that never comes, you're just wasting your own happiness for no reason. Some of us actually enjoy good moments without worrying about them blowing up because we know that's how life works most of the time. You gotta let go of this self-fulfilling prophecy thing, it's just keeping you stuck in a loop that doesn't help anyone.
