Dropped $400 on a Fiskars pole pruner and it snapped on the third branch

Went through two returns already so I'm wondering if I should just stick to manual saws for the high stuff, has anyone else had bad luck with telescoping poles failing on you?

Whoa, $400 for a Fiskars? I think those are usually more like $80 to $120 for the telescoping ones. Maybe you got a different model or you're talking about the gas powered one?

Bet you could find it marked up at some fancy garden center though.
