That Samsung ice maker issue on model RF28R7201SR
I spent 3 full days chasing a freezer drain line frost clog on a Samsung ice maker before my buddy pointed out the obvious - the heater element was dead and I never checked it first.

Dead heater element gets you every time.

I used to think it was always the thermostat until my water heater went out last winter. A buddy came over with a multimeter and found the upper element was completely open. That little test changed how I approach troubleshooting now.
