Pro tip: check the door switch before ordering a new main board

Spent two hours diagnosing a dryer that wouldn't start, was about to drop $80 on a control board, then noticed the door switch spring was just loose. Saved myself a headache and a return trip. Anyone else ever chase a ghost like that?

Man that feeling is hard to beat. Fixing something yourself with a cheap part just hits different. Way better than throwing money at a repairman or buying a whole new machine. You saved a ton of cash and learned something useful too. Good on you for not giving up on it.
