Dryer vent job in Roanoke went sideways when the homeowner's cat made a break for it
I was swapping out a clogged 4 inch flex duct on a Tuesday afternoon when the cat shot past me and vanished into a gap behind the washer. Spent 20 minutes coaxing it out with a piece of string while the homeowner stood there holding a flashlight and apologizing, and I still finished the job in under an hour. Any of you keep treats in the van for stuff like this, or is that just asking for trouble?
Cats have a sixth sense for the worst possible moment to bolt, same as toddlers and smoke alarms going off at 3am. Keeping treats in the van feels like opening a door you can't close, next thing you know you're the guy who's known for bribing pets.
