Spent $80 on Crunchyroll for a year - worth it or should I just sail the seas?

I paid for a full year of Crunchyroll back in January, $80 upfront. On one hand, I get simulcasts and no ads, which is nice. On the other hand, half the shows I want to watch are still region-locked or the app crashes on my TV. Anyone else feel like you're paying for a service that only works half the time?

Yeah just use a VPN to watch the region locked stuff. That's what I do.

VPNs work great until your bank flags a login from 'Antarctica' and freezes your card.
