Rant: My old Palm Pilot still works but I can't even sync it anymore

Fired up my Palm m515 from 2003 last week and the battery somehow held a charge, but Palm Desktop won't install on Windows 11 and I'm stuck with a glorified address book. Anyone else sitting on a PDA that's basically a paperweight now?

Did you try running it in compatibility mode first?

Compatibility mode, aka the old "throw spaghetti at the wall and see what sticks" approach. Yep, tried that already, plus running as admin, plus switching to Windows 98 color schemes for good measure. My PC is basically a time machine now but the program still crashes harder than my last attempt at assembling IKEA furniture without the instructions.

Check your Windows Event Viewer logs, that usually pinpoints the exact DLL or driver causing the crash.
