Switched from a local lab to mail-order developing, saved $12 a roll

I used to pay $18 at the shop downtown for C-41 dev only, but I tried The Darkroom online and it's $6 with better scanning. Has anyone else found a mail-in lab that beats local prices without wrecking quality?

The Darkroom is pretty solid for the price but idk if saving $12 a roll is worth losing the ability to talk to someone in person if they mess up your negs.

Fair point @kevin_sullivan but good luck getting a local shop to do that exposure stacking thing some of us actually need.
