Finally caved and bought a proper light meter after years of winging it
Spent about $150 on a used Sekonic L-308X last month, convinced it was a waste for my old Pentax K1000. Shot a roll of Portra 400 at golden hour in my local park and every single frame was perfectly exposed, no more guessing shadows. Anyone have a favorite film stock for tricky light situations now that I can actually trust my readings?
