Just realized the Library of Congress still gets 15,000 printed newspapers a week
I heard this on a radio segment driving home from work last Tuesday and had to pull over. Thought newspapers were basically dead but they're still archiving all of them in physical form. Anybody else find it weirdly comforting that someone out there is still keeping paper copies of everything?

Is it weird that I kinda love this? Like yeah sure digital archives exist but there's something about a physical stack of newspapers sitting in a building in DC that feels like a time capsule. They probably have issues from the day JFK was shot and the moon landing and everything in between. My grandpa used to save the front page of big events in a box under his bed so I get it. It's like a real life record that someone actually touched.
