Vent: A client told me my wire runs looked like spaghetti and I was mad but they were right
Last month, I finished a big install at a medical office near Denver and the office manager said my wire management was messy. I got defensive at first (you know, pride and all that), but she pulled up a photo of a panel from another company that was super clean. So I ripped out 40 feet of wire and reran everything with zip ties every 6 inches. Have any of you had a customer call you out on something that actually made your work better?

Did you ask her if she has a favorite color for zip ties?

Figured out she only uses black or white for visibility reasons at her work site. But then I asked what color she'd pick if she didn't have to worry about that and she froze up like it was a trick question. What does it mean when someone can't even commit to a pretend zip tie color preference?
