Why does nobody talk about the tool crib at the Mesa MRO?
I was out there last month for a job and their whole system runs on paper tags you have to fill out by hand. It took me 15 minutes just to check out a set of line wrenches. Has anyone else dealt with a shop that's still completely off the grid like that?

Was it the kind of paper tag where you have to press down so hard the carbon copy still comes out blank? My handwriting is so bad I've had guys at the counter squint at my form like it's a doctor's prescription. I think they keep the system just to watch us struggle.

Remember when the pen would just tear right through the flimsy paper?
