Vent: My air fryer smoked out the whole break room at work

Last Tuesday I brought my trusty air fryer to the office to make some frozen mozzarella sticks for our potluck, but the fan blew grease all over the heating coil and the smoke alarm went off on the third floor. Two fire marshals showed up, my manager gave me the 'you owe us a pizza party' speech, and now everyone calls my desk 'the grease trap.' Has anyone else had a mid-day air fryer disaster that turned a whole office against their crispy experiments?

And honestly, the whole thing is on you for bringing a fryer to a shared space. Grease smoke is the one thing that sets off every alarm in a building. Just stick to the microwave and save the crispy stuff for home.
