Rant: Wasted $30 on those air fryer liners with the holes

I bought a pack of those parchment paper liners with the little holes in them thinking they'd keep my basket clean. After three uses, I realized they just trap grease and the holes don't let air flow right. My chicken wings came out soggy on the bottom every single time. Tossed the whole pack in the trash after losing that money. Anyone else had better luck with the solid foil trays or just sticking to bare basket?

Did you actually preheat the air fryer first or just toss everything in cold? Soggy bottoms usually mean you're overcrowding the basket and not letting the heat circulate.

My buddy Marcus tried making fries in his air fryer last week and was baffled they came out like rubber bands. He'd packed the basket to the brim with frozen fries straight from the bag, no shaking or anything. I asked him if he knew the little tray underneath catches all the grease and he just stared at me. Now he preheats for three minutes and does two batches, works way better.
