My air fryer basket handle snapped clean off on Tuesday night

I was pulling out a batch of frozen fries for my kids when the plastic just gave way... dumped half of them onto the counter. It's a Cosori model I've had for about two years. Anyone have a good fix for this, or is it just time for a new basket?

My buddy Mark in Cincinnati had the exact same thing happen with his Ninja basket last month. He tried that two-part epoxy for plastic, the kind that comes in a twin syringe. It held for about a week of normal use before it just popped off again under the heat. He ended up ordering a replacement basket directly from the company website, which was a hassle but cheaper than a whole new unit. Honestly, once that plastic gets brittle from the heat cycles, it's pretty much done for.

Yeah, the "brittle from the heat cycles" part is the real killer. It's not just a clean break you can fix. That plastic gets weak and crumbly, like an old cheap toy left in the sun. You can glue it, but you're just attaching strong glue to weak material. It's just a matter of time before it fails again. Sucks to hear Mark went through that too.
