Just tried two ways to cook frozen fries in my air fryer
I had a bag of frozen crinkle cuts and did one batch with a light spray of oil and one batch completely dry. The batch with just a tiny bit of avocado oil spray came out way crispier and golden after 12 minutes at 400 degrees. The dry ones were kinda pale and soft in the middle. I guess that little bit of fat really helps the heat work better. Anyone have a go-to brand of frozen fries that always turn out good?

It's just frozen fries, not a science project. A light spray of oil is common sense for browning. The real question is why we're overthinking a side dish meant to be easy.

But the whole debate is about frozen fries, so maybe it is that serious.
