Tried an AI tool to write my blog posts and it flopped hard
I spent last weekend using one of those AI writing assistants to crank out 5 blog posts for my gardening site. Thought it would save me hours of typing. Instead, every article came back with this weird, fake enthusiasm like 'unlock the magic of soil' stuff nobody says in real life. One post even suggested planting tomatoes in July here in Minnesota which is just wrong. I learned that AI can't replace the small details and local knowledge I get from actually talking to other gardeners. Has anyone else had AI give them advice that was totally off base for their specific area?

Yeah the "unlock the magic of soil" thing made me laugh. I read somewhere that those tools scrape data from random blogs and miss all the real local stuff. Pro tip: skip the AI and just ask your neighbor who's been gardening for 30 years.

Tbh that "skip the AI and ask your neighbor" part hits hard. My buddy tried one of those AI garden planners and it told him to plant tomatoes in pure clay soil. His 70 year old neighbor just laughed and showed him how to mix in compost.
