My GPT-4 subscription gave me a full week of nonsense answers

Last Tuesday I asked ChatGPT to summarize a 10 page PDF about crop rotation and it just made up three authors who don't exist. Then on Thursday it told me the capital of Australia was Sydney. I pay $20 a month for this. Has anyone else hit a rough patch with their AI tools lately or am I just unlucky?

Think Sydney is actually not the capital of Australia. Canberra is. Easy mistake to make though, lots of people get that one wrong. The fake authors thing is annoying though, I had it do something similar with a history project last month. These models make up names and sources way too confidently for something we pay for.
