That fake 'limited time' ad for a $9 ergonomic footrest got me at 2am
Saw the timer tick down, panicked, bought it, then realized the timer resets every single refresh and honestly the footrest is just okay, has anyone else fallen for those countdown tricks?

Oh man, I did the exact same thing with a "only 2 left in stock!" thing on some cheap desk lamp. Kept hitting refresh to check and the number never changed, it was just always 2. I even sat there thinking I was being smart by waiting a minute, then panicked anyway and hit buy. The lamp buzzes when it's on and I never use it. Those fake timers should honestly be against the law.
