Talking to a tile setter made me see my shower floor completely different
I was chatting with my neighbor Frank who does tile work for 20 years. He pointed at my bathroom floor and said the pattern I thought was a mistake was actually from how the light hits the grout lines at certain angles. He told me to look at it at sunset and suddenly it looked like a mosaic art piece. Has anyone else had someone point out accidental art in their own house like that?

Jumping off what @paul330 said about not being able to unsee stuff, it's wild how our brains get stuck seeing things one way until someone shakes it up. Frank basically gave me a whole new way to look at my floor, and now I catch myself checking it at different times of day. That dragon stain thing? Man, I bet your wife sees little details everywhere now, like how the light hits the coffee table or the way a crack in the ceiling curves. It's like having a secret superpower once you start noticing those accidental designs.

That's such a cool story. I mean, it's crazy how once someone points something out you can't unsee it. My wife once told me the weird stain on our kitchen wall looked like a dragon's face, and now I see it every single morning. It's like finding hidden art in plain sight just because your brain was looking at it wrong before. Frank sounds like a good neighbor to have around.
