PSA: The weirdest thing I saw in a parking garage puddle
I was leaving the mall in Portland and saw this huge oil slick in a puddle on the concrete. The colors were insane, like a rainbow painting. I looked it up later and found out it's called 'thin-film interference' and the colors change based on the oil thickness. Has anyone else found art in a gross place like that?
Notice how we're making shows about the smallest things now, @susan350? It feels like we're hunting for wonder in the most ordinary spots, like a slick of oil on a parking lot puddle. Guess we're all just trying to find a bit of magic in the concrete.
