My neighbor's coffee spill made me see the sidewalk differently

I was standing on my porch last Tuesday morning when my neighbor Carol ran out with her mug and tripped over her own hose. Coffee went everywhere on the concrete and for a second the splash pattern looked exactly like a bird in flight. I laughed at first but then I couldn't stop staring at it. She apologized and grabbed a bucket but I asked her to leave it for a day. That afternoon with the sun hitting it the coffee stain had this warm brown spread that looked like watercolor. I snapped a picture and by evening the wind had shifted some leaf shadows over it and it looked like a whole different piece. Has anyone else seen a random mess turn into something you'd hang on a wall?

Saw this @hunt.jana and had to jump in because last fall my dog stepped in mud on the patio and the paw print got rained on just right that it looked like a tiny galaxy spiral. I swear I stared at it for ten minutes every time I let him out that week. It's wild how the world hands you free art when you're not looking for it.

Oh wow, that's exactly how I felt when my kid dropped grape juice on the driveway and it looked just like a jellyfish!
