Had to choose between a splatter on my garage floor and a perfect abstract shape
I was cleaning out my workshop and spilled some old paint stripper on the concrete. It dried into this wild layered pattern that looked like a satellite photo of a river delta. I left it for a week trying to decide if I should paint over it or frame it. Ended up putting a clear coat over it to seal it in. Has anyone else found accidental art in their own workspace and kept it around?

Wait, if it's paint stripper that'd be pretty caustic stuff, wouldn't it eat through a clear coat over time? I've had some chemical spills in my garage that reacted with sealer and ended up bubbling or peeling off months later. Maybe check if the stripper is fully neutralized before you put anything on top of it. I had a similar thing with some spilled wood stain that made a perfect tree ring pattern, but I went with a simple polyurethane and it yellowed weird after a year. Just something to keep an eye on.

That polyurethane yellowing happened to me too on a white oak table.
