The old free font site that made my brother lose $50 in 2009

Back in 2009 my brother paid $50 for a font pack from a site that looked totally dead, and the download link gave us a corrupted zip file. He tried emailing the contact address on the page, but it bounced back as undeliverable. Has anyone else ever run into a ghost site that still takes money through paypal but never answers?

lol sounds like the site charged extra for the scam experience, guess that $50 bought your brother a life lesson in font theft.
