Stumbled on a Geocities fan page for a band that broke up in 1999

It's still up with MIDI files and a guestbook that somehow still works, blew my mind that someone is paying to host this thing 25 years later. Has anyone else found a site that just refuses to die like that?

god I still have my old Geocities page saved on a hard drive somewhere, and I'm too scared to check if it still works because I know I used Comic Sans and a background of dancing hamsters. honestly whoever's footing the bill for that hosting is a legend, probably forgot they signed up for it in 2005 and now they're like "well, the guestbook still gets spam from bots, so it's fine." I once found a fan site for a cartoon that ended in 2003, and the "under construction" gif was still animated, which felt like a miracle.

Haha man I feel this in my bones. I found a fansite I made for a PS2 game on a random free host like 15 years later and the midi file was still blasting out some terrible chiptune cover. Guess the server's just been humming along like it's nothing, lol.
