Stumbled across a perfectly preserved 2002 blog for a local band called The Static

The last entry is literally 'Gig at The Vault tonight, see you there!' and the guestbook is full of 'cya there' posts. Anyone else find a time capsule site that just... stopped on a random Tuesday?

But what's so special about a site just stopping? It happens all the time. People forget passwords, hosting expires, or the band just broke up and nobody cared enough to write a final post. That "see you there" moment isn't deep, it's just a forgotten chore. Most of these sites are boring relics, not some magic time capsule.
