Someone on here told me to stop using bleach on my tile grout
I was scrubbing a client's bathroom in Denver last tuesday with my usual bleach mix and the grout started turning yellow. A dude from this sub commented that bleach actually breaks down grout sealant over time and I had no idea. Any of you other cleaners switch to something gentler and what do you use now?

Oh man, I learned this one the hard way too. Felt like such a dummy when my grout turned that nasty yellow color. Now I just use a hydrogen peroxide based cleaner and a stiff brush. Takes a little more elbow grease but at least I'm not destroying the sealant. Figured it's better to put in an extra 10 minutes of scrubbing than have to redo the whole grout in a year. Your clients will thank you later even if they don't know why the grout looks good.
