Rant: My old Geocities archive died and I'm actually relieved

I spent years hoarding my 1997 Geocities page on a 3.5 inch floppy and a CD-R, thinking I lost it forever. Then last month I found a startup that claimed to restore those old archives, paid them 40 bucks, and got back a mess of broken HTML and a guestbook full of dead links to Angelfire pages. Honestly, the whole thing was garbage and I'm kinda glad it's gone, it was cringey teenage poetry about dial-up tones anyway. Anyone else find their old pages and wish they'd left them buried?
