Did the mom's job thing bug you more than the timeline stuff or was it all just piling up by the end? I noticed the same thing in a show last year where a character's whole backstory got rewritten between seasons like nobody would remember. The part that got me was how the writers kept adding new mysteries instead of closing the old ones, so by the final season nothing meant anything anymore. How far into season 3 did you get before you almost quit?

Wouldnt soft maple or pine be way more forgiving than oak even with self tappers? Oak is hard and brittle so the screw has nowhere to go but split the grain, and Ray was right no matter how old school it sounds.
