It's the same everywhere, not just job sites. Go to the grocery store and it's all self-checkout, no chatting with the cashier. In my old neighborhood, people used to sit on porches and talk, now everyone just drives into their garage and closes the door. We get things done faster but lose all the small talk that makes a place feel like a community. The world feels like it's all business now, no room for just being around people.

Isn't it funny how people get so hung up on 'natural' labels for garden stuff? They'll spray copper fungicide from a bottle but turn their nose up at anything from a big company. I mean, copper sulfate is mined and then made into a spray, so how is that not synthetic? But hey, if it makes them feel better about their zucchini, who am I to judge?
