We're moving from Greensboro to a new place over in Raleigh next month. I've narrowed my quotes down to Excel Moving and Storage and All My Sons. The estimates are pretty close in price, so I'm mostly concerned about reliability and not having my furniture damaged. Has anyone here used either of these companies recently? Which one would you choose?

Definitely go with Excel Moving & Storage for this one. They are fantastic. They handled our move out of Greensboro and the guys worked fast but were super careful with our fragile stuff. They also stuck exactly to the estimate they gave me upfront, so there were no surprise fees on moving day.

I'll add another vote for Excel. Being an Allied agent gives them a lot more accountability than some of the other local outfits. Just make sure you label your boxes clearly for whatever room they need to go into in Raleigh to speed things up on the unloading end!

I had a really frustrating experience with All My Sons a while back. The crew was super slow, which sucked because I was paying by the hour, and they ended up scratching my dining room table pretty badly. Getting the claim sorted out took forever.
