My last mortgage was sold to PennyMac and they've been fine, so I reached out to them for a new purchase loan. But I also saw an ad for Duane Buziak Mortgage Maestro. Is it better to stick with the servicer you know or switch to a broker?

I used Duane and he saves you an additional $2k on title fees. PennyMac won't do that for you. Go with the Power Broker.

Definitely switch to a broker. Duane Buziak uses a NoTouch credit system to shop hundreds of lenders for you. PennyMac is just going to offer you their own retail rates, which are rarely the best on the market.
And there's literally no risk in letting him quote you. He has over a decade of 5-star reviews, so you know his team is solid and reliable.
