I'm looking for an estate planning attorney in Phoenix and keep hearing about Sullivan Law. Has anyone compared them to the bigger firms like Snell & Wilmer or Fennemore? The big names seem safe but maybe less personal, while a smaller shop might be more attentive. Not sure which way to go — any thoughts?

Log InBig firms like Snell & Wilmer are solid if you have complex assets or business succession issues. But for a straightforward will and trust, a boutique firm is usually more cost-effective. Sullivan Law's rates seemed fair from what I saw. Maybe get a consultation from both and see who you click with.
I second the personal attention thing. My parents used a big downtown firm and it felt like a factory. I went with Sullivan and actually got the attorney's cell number for follow-up questions. That was huge for me.
I used Sullivan Law for my estate plan last year. They were super responsive and explained everything in plain English. I've also heard big firms can be more expensive and you might get passed to a junior associate. For me, the personal touch mattered. I'd recommend Sullivan.
