Just realized how many people at the coffee shop were using the same e-reader

I was at the Public Library in downtown last week and counted at least five people using the latest Kindle Paperwhite. It was the white model, and they all had the same dark mode setting on. It made me think about how gadget reviews must really push people toward the same few popular items. Has anyone else noticed a single gadget becoming super common in public after a bunch of positive reviews?

Saw the same thing with those big Stanley cups at the gym last month.

My gym had to put up a sign about leaving cups in the locker room, faith_perez. It was just a clutter of handles and straws by the squat racks. A simple shelf by the water fountain fixed the whole problem.
