Honestly, gadget packaging is becoming way more sustainable

Tbh, I've been reading a bunch of reviews that keep mentioning how companies are swapping plastic for recycled cardboard and plant-based inks. For instance, my recent wireless charger came in a box that was fully compostable and had no glue at all. It's cool to see this shift toward less waste in the tech world. Ngl, it makes me check the eco-credentials before buying anything now.

Wonder if this'll push other industries to clean up too?

Which industries do you think would be first?

Checking eco-credentials before buying is interesting. It might actually change the resale market for gadgets. If the box is part of the product's story, a complete original package made of recycled stuff could become more valuable for collectors or for selling used items later. Like, a vintage game cartridge is worth more with its box. In ten years, your fully compostable charger box, if you kept it nice, might be a weird flex for a second-hand buyer who cares about that full history.
