Spent three days fixing a client's broken invoice system
A regular client asked me to update their invoice template in Google Sheets. I thought it would take an hour, but their old formulas were a mess and linked to dead files. It took me three full days to rebuild the whole thing from scratch without breaking their past records. Has anyone else had a simple task blow up like that?

Honestly, I read a blog post once that called this the "iceberg effect" with client work. Tbh @susan350, I just make a new pot of coffee and accept my fate for the week.
